Two grant opportunities are open for applications: the Small Projects Matching Grant and Live Music Grant

Two grant opportunities from the City of Mississauga are now open. Interested applicants can apply for the Small Projects Matching Grant or the Live Music Grant, which open on Monday, April 1.

Applicants are encouraged to attend an information webinar to learn more about the grant programs and application process. Attending a webinar is mandatory for new applicants and those who have not received funding from the City’s grant programs within the past two years.

Small Projects Matching Grant Program

This grant is open to non-profit community groups who are part of the City’s Community Group Registry Program and supports eligible projects that will strengthen neighbourhoods, increase engagement and enhance opportunities for Mississauga residents to participate in, including celebrations relating to Mississauga’s 50th anniversary.

Live Music Grant Program

This for-profit grant provides funding to offset the eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors. The program stems from the City’s Music Strategy and is designed to help increase the number and frequency of live music events in Mississauga.

Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Once registered, participants will receive an email with details on how to attend and access the webinar.

Application process

All grant applications must be submitted online. The deadline for the Small Projects Matching Grant is Wednesday, April 17 at 4:30 p.m. and Friday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m. for the Live Music Grant.
